COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY / SKIN NEEDLING
The Skin Pen from The Eclipse MicroPen®, using Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), also known as Skin Needling, rejuvenates the natural architecture of the skin by remodelling the collagen production. It addresses signs of aging, acne, scarring, uneven skin texture and can improve cosmetic concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles. The Eclipse MicroPen®, device has several advantages over previous generation anti-aging devices such as lasers and dermal needle rollers.

What area of the body can I treat?
Eclipse Micro Pen can be used on all parts of the body; Face, neck, decollate, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.
How is the procedure done?
A sterile needle-tip (no cross infection as we use disposable needles) containing12 micro-needles is attached to the Eclipse Micro Pen. Your skin professional will apply a thin layer of topical gel/serum to your skin and select the appropriate treatment depth based on your unique needs. The pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.
What does it feel like?
The feeling associated with the Eclipse Micro Pen is similar to sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating needle tip makes the treatment comfortable.
Is the treatment safe?
In our premises we follow and uphold the Maintain Infection Control Regulations hence, all Skin Needling treatments are performed in a safe and precise manner with use of the Eclipse Micro pen disposable –needling tip comes from the sterilized packages.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes 50 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated and based on consultation.
Is there any downtime after treatment?
Generally, no, but you may experience facial erythema (redness) for 12-48 hours. The total healing time depends on the depth of needles used and the number of overlapping passes your skin care professional performs.
How many treatments will I need?
For optimum results, most clients have a package of three every 4 weeks along with the correct home care products.
upon consultation.
